Lucinda grew up in Bundaberg before attending the University of Queensland. She graduated with a bachelor of laws in 2002. Lucinda then returned to work at a leading regional law firm, where she practiced primarily in Property Law.

 

In 2006 Lucinda joined a large Body Corporate Management business where she has advanced her skills and knowledge over 5 years.  In 2011 Lucinda joined Precision Body Corporate Management as the Business Manager, and in 2014 joined Scott Mackey as an owner and director.

 

Lucinda joined Precision Body Corporate Management because she felt that there was an opportunity to offer clients more personal attention, which Lucinda believes can be lacking from other firms.  She also wanted to be able to work more closely with developers and other industry professionals to help the sector build quality, compliant, easy to manage and cost effective complexes.

 

Lucinda has worked in all areas of the strata industry, including the management of residential, commercial and resort complexes, both small and large. She has a particular enthusiasm for working with developers, solicitors and surveyors in establishing new complexes.

 

Away from the office, Lucinda has a strong community focus. Lucinda is the Chairperson of Regional Housing Ltd, a registered charity delivering housing programs in the Wide Bay and South Burnett. She has also played elite level basketball and currently plays basketball and netball as well as coaching junior basketball. Lucinda is also a keen bushwalker, and is an active member of the Bundaberg Bushwalking Club as a walk leader and newsletter editor.
